"I feel a mixture of pride and disappointment," he said.
"It was another good home performance - but not a victory.
"There is no question that a win will come but we have to stay in this division. We are playing well enough and just need to convert our chances and not be naive at the other end.
"Even so, we gave ourselves the maximum opportunity to win and players like Joe Garner don't need telling that they could have won it for us."
