New chairman Andrew Fitton has completed his takeover at the County Ground and appointed Maurice Malpas as the new man in charge of first-team affairs.
After the postponement of Tuesday's cup replay with Barnet, Malpas's first game in charge will be at home to Nottingham Forest on Saturday.
"I believe the play-offs are feasible. Difficult but feasible. The players are looking to achieve that dream too," said the ex-Motherwell boss.
