Billy Davies' side went into the international break with a top-half position in the Championship, secured by three consecutive league victories over Plymouth Argyle, Scunthorpe United and Peterborough United respectively.
The squad now have some more 'getting to know you' time as the summer's new arrivals continue to gel, with winger Paul Anderson telling the Evening Post: "We have not had much time to work together, but we will now."
As always in the Championship, the international break precedes a tough run of fixtures.
Forest return to action with home games against Newcastle United and Barnsley before a trip to Crystal Palace, all in the space of seven days.
