After Garath McCleary made the headlines against Leeds it was the Polish midfielder's turn to stun a home crowd as his hat-trick saw off Crystal Palace and pushed Forest a step closer to Championship survival.
"I'm absolutely delighted for him," said boss Steve Cotterill, who felt his side were 'well worth their fish and chips' on the journey home.
"For me, he lost his way a little bit earlier in the season and didn't end up putting in the performances that we know he can.
"Today was totally different and he was superb."
The Eagles had previously been very tough to beat on home soil with only ten goals conceded but manager Dougie Freedman had few complaints about the final scoreline.
"Forest did really well to get the first goal and that opened up the game. They had a little bit of quality up front and they deserved it in the end."
