Signed on loan from Sheffield Wednesday recently, 24-year-old Madine played half-an-hour of Tuesday night's home defeat against Middlesbrough for the Championship's bottom club.
Blackpool manager Lee Clark has backed Madine to make an impact for his struggling side, telling the official club website: "He’s always impressed me with his work ethic for the team and aerial prowess.
"We think he can play an important part for us in the remaining games to help us try and achieve our goal."
Clark has also warned his men to be wary of the pace of Michail Antonio although the hosts will not have to face Forest's top goalscorer Britt Assombalonga.
The worst fears of Reds' supporters were realised on Friday when it was confirmed that the 15-goal forward is out for up to a year after knee surgery on the injury he sustained against Wigan Athletic on Wednesday.
