Trailing from the 15th minute to a goal from Ebanks-Landell, Nottingham Forest earned another important point thanks to substitute Dexter Blackstock.
He netted just a couple of minutes after coming on as part of a double change with Jonny Williams, Ben Osborn and Ryan Mendes making way.
And Blackstock's volley made it 11 points that the Reds have gained from losing positions this season, the most in the Championship.
Ahead of Saturday's fixtures it means Forest are 15th in the table. They are in action again on Monday in another televised fixture away to Blackburn Rovers.
Paul Lambert's side gained a narrow 1-0 win against Rotherham United on Friday.
Speaking afterwards, Reds manager Dougie Freedman said: "We showed resilience when we had to because I thought Wolves gave it a right good go in the middle part of the game.
"The reason that we got a well-deserved point was because we started with a lot of confidence in the first 15 or 20 minutes, when I think they scored against the run of play.
"Then in the last 15 minutes we really showed that energy and aggressiveness which got us a fair result. So I come away from here very pleased with how we played."
