Defeat at Rochdale at the beginning of January sparked an early end to Nottingham Forest's cup hopes but it does now give Stuart Pearce the chance to get a number of his sidelined players back before the Reds' next game.
Speaking before Wednesday night's defeat at Fulham, Pearce was confident that Michael Mancienne and Matty Fryatt would both be back in contention to face Millwall on Saturday 31 January although Andy Reid's groin problem will keep him sidelined for around another six weeks.
The City Ground clash with the Lions also comes on the eve of the transfer window closing and may see another new face in the Forest squad as Pearce pursues a third potential loan signing to follow Todd Kane and Gary Gardner.
Aston Villa midfielder Jack Grealish is thought to be the most likely target.
