Boss pleased with friendly display

Two separate Forest sides played in each half of the game at the New Manor Ground, and many did their case for a first-team place at the start of the season no harm at all.

"You take from it the attitude and application," said Calderwood afterwards. 

"They went at it in the right manner.

"You want to dominate no matter who the opposition are."

He added: "Everyone starts afresh and we will look at it overall at the end."
