Crystal Palace were brushed aside by a rampant Nottingham Forest and despite bemoaning the 'horrendous' goals given away by his side, visiting boss George Burley found time to be impressed by the Reds.
"Forest looked lively and bright, they haven't had a game for a few weeks and they looked sharp," he said.
There were a host of positives for the home side in contrast, with Marcus Tudgay netting on his debut and Aaron Ramsey again being eased into action, ahead of a busy Christmas programme.
"I didn't start Aaron Ramsey today because he has to be handled carefully," said Billy Davies.
"But he's had another week's training behind him and I am sure he will make a big contribution for us. I would love to extend his loan period."
