He told the club website: "Hopefully I'll start training on Monday, get a good week's work behind me and play in a practice game to top up my match fitness and then be in a position to be thrown back into the first-team reckoning.
"It has been a frustrating time for me but I'm coming towards the end of it and can't wait to play again."
