"I have had eight clubs, so it would be nice to settle down somewhere," said Curtis.
"If Forest had offered me a longer contract, I would have definitely signed it.
"It is an unsettling time, but football has gone that way.
"A few years ago people were signing five-year deals.
"That might still be the case if you are Arjen Robben or Damien Duff, but most footballers aren't like them. They are like me."
