Former West Ham defender Calum Davenport is training with Nottingham Forest. The 27-year-old is hoping to resurrect his career as he regains his fitness after suffering serious leg wounds in a stabbing incident in August 2009. Davenport, who began his career in the midlands with Coventry before joining Tottenham, had his contract at West Ham terminated in March.
He has been training with Forest this week, and boss Billy Davies said: "We are giving Calum the opportunity to train with us while giving ourselves the chance to look at him."
