Boss Billy Davies has played down Nottingham Forest`s chances of securing a place in the Barclays Premier League.
Despite a lack of signings over the summer, the Reds are one of the promotion favourites after an impressive run to the npower Championship play-offs last season.
A 3-1 win over Swansea on Saturday extended Forest`s unbeaten league run to seven matches, but Davies remains grounded. "We won't get carried away. I told them after (the Swansea game) that I wanted to see good behaviour from them over the next few days to make sure we are ready for Sheffield United on Tuesday night," said the Scot.
"As far as I am concerned, we are not quite there when it comes to competing at that level (challenging for automatic promotion). But we will keep working away and see what happens. Since day one this side has shown some very positive signs. We know that we just have to keep working away. We have to keep putting it in on the training ground. We have to keep moving ourselves forwards."
