Nottingham Forest manager Billy Davies led the acclaim for Lewis McGugan's spectacular strike that provided the highlight of the 2-0 victory over Ipswich.
McGugan added to David McGoldrick's opener with a spectacular 35-yard free-kick that left Davies purring. The Scot said: "It has to be one of the goals of the season - if not the goal of the season. It's certainly a candidate.
"I was worried that he wouldn't make it because he had to miss training on Thursday with a virus and I didn't expect too much from him. He looked a bit leggy but he scored a wonder goal and we all know that's what he is capable of producing."
