Excitement is building at the City Ground after 22,000+ watched Forest brush aside potential bogey team Rovers with a second-half display described by manager Billy Davies as 'fantastic'.
The win lifts the Reds into the top six and thechance of them moving quietly towards a play-off place is lessening all the time as the rest of the division sits up and takes notice.
"We certainly can't get carried away," cautioned Davies.
"I would advise everybody to keep their feet on the ground and keep working very hard."
The result also sets up a lip-smacking local derby with Leicester City at the City Ground next Saturday with the Foxes lying one place and two points above Forest.
