The Doncaster Rovers manager was pleased with how his side coped with playing in the club's last ever game at their Belle Vue ground.
He said: "We are having a great run at the moment and long may it continue.
"Beating the leaders on top of the recent results we've had should send us into the Christmas period with plenty of confidence.
"It has been an emotional day for the supporters but it was important we didn't get caught up in all that. We kept our focus on the game which was very pleasing and then we were able to join in the fun afterwards."
