Swansea and Cardiff are yet to lodge formal complaints to the Football League over comments made by Nottingham Forest chief executive Mark Arthur regarding the respective futures of Darren Pratley and Peter Whittingham. It is understood the Welsh clubs have not officially contacted the league following the developments over the weekend although it remains to be seen whether they opt to do so.
Forest chief Arthur claimed Pratley and Whittingham - who have been the subject of failed bids by the East Midlands club - are keen to leave south Wales and pen deals at the City Ground. Naturally, Arthur`s comments did not go down well with the Welsh sides who have joined forces to condemn his actions - with Bluebirds boss Dave Jones suggesting "the league need to have a look at it", something agreed by Swans chairman Huw Jenkins.
