Speaking after the game against Accrington on Friday, the 33-year-old told the Lincolnshire Echo: "To be honest, I can't see myself playing at Forest again and I'm in the shop window. I would like to do well here and possibly earn a permanent deal.
"It's something I would consider and, obviously, it's down to circumstances. It's a fair way from where I live in Birmingham, but, then again, I used to travel to Wigan.
"At 33, I'm not going to uproot my family, but I've done long distances before - I'll just have to buy a diesel car if I move here!"
