Exeter are preparing for their third consecutive season in the Conference after being relegated from the Football League at the end of the 2002/03 season.
They have finished in sixth place for each of the last two campaigns, just missing out on a play-off spot.
Last season though they famously earned a 0-0 draw at Manchester United in the FA Cup 3rd Round before losing a replay at St James' Park.
The money earned from that FA Cup run has eased the club's financial position although manager Alex Inglethorpe is still working to a strict budget ahead of next season.
Inglethorpe though is confident of his side's chances, saying recently: "I don't think there will be a better side than us this year.
"I've got complete faith in my squad and what we do and I don't think anyone will be as organised, fit or as motivated as us.
"We certainly have all those qualities in abundance and I'd be delighted if the campaign began tomorrow."
