The on-loan 19-year-old replaces the suspended Paul Gerrard and earned praise from Megson for his display at Reading last week after Gerrard's dismissal.
"Colin came on in difficult circumstances and, although he had to pick the ball out of the net only a couple of minutes later, he came and took a couple of crosses and I thought he was terrific," said Megson.
The Forest boss again finds his build-up to a big game hampered by incidents outside his control after waking up this morning to see stories of his players' alleged 'rowdy' behaviour on a night out in Nottingham on Tuesday making the national press.
