Forest boss explains Brighton swoop

A surprise loan deal for the defender was completed on Tuesday after Lynch handed in a transfer request at the Withdean Stadium.

Calderwood said: "He's a player I've looked at in the past, and this gives us an opportunity to have a look at him for a month."

Lynch, 21 next week, has made 95 appearance for Brighton including 3 this season.
