Stuart Pearce's side ended a 10-game sequence without a victory by scoring twice in the final few minutes against the Canaries, Michail Antonio's winner lifting the roof of the City Ground as proof that fans want nothing more than for their manager to succeed.
It also means that Forest have lifted their worries and do not have to brood over them during the international break which means no Championship action until a visit to Wolves on 22 November.
Pearce feels his squad are ready for a short rest to recharge their batteries, mentally more than physically as he believes the players are looking 'very sharp'.
Wolves were crushed 5-0 at Derby on Saturday lunchtime so take a different set of issues into the international break.
