Nottingham Forest manager Billy Davies is confident that Polish midfielder Radoslaw Majewski will sign to play for the Championship club next season.Majewski, 23, has earned rave reviews with some of his displays this season, while on loan from Polonia Warsaw.
That has prompted him to be linked with Premier League clubs Fulham, Aston Villa and Blackburn Rovers.
But Davies has told BBC Radio Nottingham: "I am confident. We're keen to get this lad permanently signed up."
The Pole has scored stunning goals against Derby and West Bromwich Albion so far this season, and has helped Forest challenge for automatic promotion to the Premier League.
Davies feels that the uncertainty of Majewski's future has not helped him recently, however.
"When you're sitting in that position of not knowing where you're going, and things drag on, it can certainly effect you," he said.
"It hasn't helped Raddy Majewski, it hasn't helped settle him down and it's important to get it sorted as soon as possible."
