The schedule has been put together by Brian Eastick, newly-installed as a key part of Stuart Pearce's backroom team and includes games in the UK at Rotherham United, MK Dons and York City.
Refreshingly, rather than simply announcing the games, Eastick has given the official club website some of the reasoning behind the fixtures and an outline of how Forest's players will tackle pre-season as a whole.
The game against Rotherham pits two sides together who could both be in the Championship next season. Millers boss Steve Evans told his club's official website that he was expecting a 'great game' and that with Premier League clubs meeting regularly in pre-season nowadays he saw no problems with the fixture.
Forest will end their build-up with a home game against West Bromwich Albion on Saturday 2 August.
