The Foxes are flying high in the Championship after an excellent start and won 3-0 at Watford on Saturday to move within a point of leaders Burnley.
That is in contrast to a Forest side who are dusting themselves down after their first wobble of the season with just one point taken from the last three games.
Billy Davies praised his side's efforts in defeat against Blackpool at the weekend, criticising the match officials for getting the big decisions in the game wrong.
Leicester boss Nigel Pearson, meanwhile, believes the side that just pipped Forest to a play-off place last season is better this time around.
He told the official LCFC website: "The younger players have probably had more experience, they’ve got another year together and we’ve added experienced players who have really brought a vital ingredient to the squad."
