Defiant in defeat after the 3-1 reverse at Norwich City on Saturday afternoon which left his side ten points adrift of the play-offs, Freedman is keen to add to his attacking options during the upcoming international break after seeing Dexter Blackstock injured at Carrow Road.
The Reds face the two sides currently above them in the Championship table in the space of four days over Easter but Freedman was also right to point out after the Norwich game that the defeat felt all the more disappointing only because his side has raised expectations so much in recent weeks.
"If we can get a couple of results and things go our way, things can swing around again," said the Scot.
"I am very open in how I feel. I think the better team beat us, because of various circumstances. But that does not mean I am going to lie down and accept our fate."
