The City Ground clash against Burnley really looks to be the final opportunity for Billy Davies and his side to turn around their dip in form in time to make the play offs after a calamitous run has seen Forest slip to 8th in the Championship.
Burnley have also been off the boil of late but have a game in hand on the rest of the contenders and know that a win would bring them level on points with their hosts.
The equation is out of Forest's hands now of course and to that end they could do with a favour from local rivals Derby County on Tuesday night as the Rams host Leeds at Pride Park.
Leeds currently occupy the final play off place, four points above the Reds with six games left to play.
