Neil Harris has rejoined Millwall on an 18-month deal as Colin Calderwood continues his purge of fringe players.

"It has been close a couple of times, but now it has happened I am delighted to be back," said the 29-year-old.

Ross Gardner has made his loan move to Port Vale a permanent one. "From day one when I came here I wanted to get a permanent deal," he said.

"I didn't feel there was much for me at Nottingham Forest,"

Two players released by Forest recently have found new clubs. Jon-Paul Pittman has signed a short-term deal at Doncaster Rovers while Gino Padula has linked up with French side Montpelier.

"I wish Forest the best," said the Argentine defender.

"The manager Colin Calderwood is a good man and a good manager and I hope they go up."
