Forest stars in tabloid drinking storm

The newspaper claims that around a dozen players were on a night out on Tuesday night in Nottingham city centre and that they were warned to tone down their 'rowdy' antics before the police were called.

Forest chief executive Mark Arthur is quoted as saying: "We have received complaints from members of the public regarding the behaviour of a group of players in Nottingham city centre on Tuesday evening.

"We have launched an internal inquiry and will take appropriate action against the players concerned if we find they have a case to answer."

The story is being reported across the national media this morning just 24 hours before a weekend that could see Forest relegated to League One if results go against them.
