Following their win over Reading on Saturday afternoon, Nottingham Forest are not in action now until a week on Tuesday when QPR come to the City Ground.
In the meantime they can take a breath and enjoy the game at St James' Park where a home win will leave West Brom four points adrift of the Reds while a draw or win for the Baggies will keep Forest within touching distance of table-topping Newcastle.
Billy Davies may be constantly trying to keep expectations grounded but with the relentless consistency being shown by his side at present that they are being talked about by everyone outside the club as genuine candidates for a return to the top-flight.
