Last season the game was staged at Derby County's Pride Park but this year's showpiece final returns to the City Ground on the May Bank Holiday (Monday, 3 May).
Forest chief executive Mark Arthur said: "We have proved we can successfully stage the highest profile women's football event in the UK."
He added: "Hopefully the 2010 final will be every bit as memorable, for players and supporters alike, as the previous games at the City Ground."
The City Ground still holds the record attendance for a domestic women's game in England, with 24,582 fans attending the 2008 final between Arsenal and Leeds.

Forest also hosted the 2007 final between Arsenal and Charlton, but the event moved to Pride Park last season when Arsenal once again emerged victorious, thanks to a 2-1 victory over Sunderland.
Nottingham City Council leader Jon Collins said: "Women's football is right at the heart of Nottingham's 2018 World Cup offer with an ambition for Forest's proposed new stadium to become the national home for the women's game in England - the Wembley for women - as well as hosting World Cup matches."
