Striker Robert Earnshaw and defender Kelvin Wilson remain concerns for Nottingham Forest ahead of the visit of Swansea. Earnshaw, who has recently recovered from a hamstring injury, sustained a thigh problem during the goalless draw at Hull. Wilson missed that game with a calf complaint and has not recovered as quickly as manager boss Billy Davies had hoped.
"Both players are touch and go for Saturday and we will just have to see how they progress," said Davies. "It is a long Championship season and we know we are going to have problems like this."
Luke Chambers is on standby to deputise for Wilson once more while Dexter Blackstock will almost certainly return to the starting line up if Earnshaw fails to make it. Long-term absentee David McGoldrick hit the comeback trail this week with a 45-minute run-out for the reserves following shoulder surgery but this game may be too soon for the forward to be considered.
Forest remain without a win at the City Ground this season but are unbeaten in the last six matches.
