A move to bring Jonathan Greening to the City Ground from Fulham does appear to be close to fruition with a £600,000 fee being mooted for the ex-West Brom man who is knows to Steve McClaren from their time together at both Manchester United and Middlesbrough.
Wayne Routledge's name continues to be linked with the Reds as well but Dutch defensive midfielder Karim El Ahmadi insists he wants to stay with Feyenoord.
