Nottingham Forest begin their 2014/15 Championship campaign against Blackpool at the City Ground on Saturday and are set to be backed by a large crowd, buoyed by the return of Stuart Pearce to the club.
After a low-key summer, tensions rose this week with the proposed sale of Jamaal Lascelles and Karl Darlow to Newcastle drawing critical comments from Pearce towards the club hierarchy.
No sooner had that died down then the Reds paid out a hefty fee to secure Peterborough United striker Britt Assombalonga who is in line to make his debut against Blackpool.
The Seasiders have had the label 'crisis club' attached to them throughout the summer with an overseas tour cancelled due to lack of players. A number of new signings have come through the door at Bloomfield Road in recent days but travelling fans will still be checking their programmes to work out exactly who is playing for their team.
