The Championship season begins this weekend and for most Nottingham Forest fans it will be a first chance to see the summer signings in action as Sean O'Driscoll's side take on Bristol City at the City Ground.
The Reds have a strong record in this fixture having won 24 and drawn 15 of the 44 meetings held on Nottingham soil.
City however did take the spoils in the last fixture just four months ago as both sides battled to avoid relegation to League One.

While Forest were edging their way past Fleetwood in the League Cup this week, Bristol City crashed out of the competition at the hands of another League Two side, Gillingham.
"We don't want to take anything away from Gillingham, because they deserved the result, but there was a lot lacking from our point of view," said manager Derek McInnes afterwards.
"It is something we need to address before we play Nottingham Forest on Saturday."
The second round draw for the Capital One Cup was made on Wednesday afternoon and the Reds will host Wigan Athletic in the week commencing 27th August.
