Marcus Tudgay expects to be fighting to win a place in the Premier League with Nottingham Forest after joining the Reds on loan from Sheffield Wednesday."Forest are a big club and promotion could be on the cards," the striker told BBC Radio Nottingham.
"It was a no-brainer. I was in and out at Sheffield Wednesday and this came about and I jumped at the chance.
"I've not come here to sit on the bench, I've come to score some goals. It's a great opportunity."
Derby County youth-team product Tudgay has moved to the City Ground on loan with a view to a permanent deal in January.
The 27-year-old was signed to provide cover for Dexter Blackstock, who has been ruled out for a year with a cruciate knee injury, and he is expected to start Monday's match against Leicester.
