Gillingham earned a vital point in their battle for survival with a 1-1 draw and Jepson told BBC Radio Kent after the game: "I thought the lads work ethic today was fantastic against a strong Forest side who are on a good run.

"I thought we matched them, especially in the first half.

"Forest had more of the play in the second half, which you would expect but even then we still created one or two chances."
