Hart said: "We know that David is a natural goalscorer but he has so much more to offer to the team than that.
"He created our first goal that got us going and his overall performances this season have been excellent.
"I'm delighted for all the players because they are getting the rewards for all the hard work they have put in but it's a long season and there is so much hard work still to be done.
"We'll keep taking it one game at a time because I don't know any other way to treat it."
