Forest manager Paul Hart has revealed that Darren Huckerby could sign permanently - provided they reach the Premiership.
Huckerby, 26, is on fire since joining the Reds on loan from Manchester City scoring three goals and assisting once in two games.
Paul Hart told The Nottingham Evening Post: "It's very difficult in the First Division to sign Premiership players on a full-time basis.
"I would love to have him on board and we will definitely look at it if we get into the Premiership."
Rumours suggest Forest have already agreed a £1.5m price with Man City boss Kevin Keegan should they win promotion to the illusive Barclaycard Premiership.
