The FA Cup holders come to the City Ground on Saturday on the back of an excellent recent run of form which has revived hopes of a top-six finish while also landing them a quarter-final tie at Manchester City as they continue a spirited defence of the trophy they won against the same opponents at Wembley in May.
With Ben Watson, scorer of the winning goal that day, ruled out for the remainder of the season, manager Uwe Rosler has sealed a deal for Fulham's ex-Manchester United midfielder Tunnicliffe.
Rosler has played down comparisons with Watson but told his official club website that Tunnicliffe was: 'A physical player with lots of energy and with the match programme we have coming up we needed to add another player who can play our style.'
