Assistant manager David Kelly insists Nottingham Forest have the character to bounce back immediately after losing their nine-match unbeaten run.
The Reds lost a league game for the first time since the opening day of the season when they were beaten at Barnsley on Saturday. Ahead of the visit of Middlesbrough on Tuesday night, Kelly said: "We have the character to bounce back, without doubt. We have done it before and we will do it again.
"In the past we have lost games and hit back to win very well. We are confident. We have lost our unbeaten run but we will bounce back and build another run of results, starting on Tuesday night.
"What I would say is that nobody wins the league or gets promoted in October. Nothing is decided now."
