Nottingham Forest recovered from the loss of an early goal to take the lead against play-off rivals Reading to take the lead through a Boyd penalty and an Earnshaw strike.
In a game they dared not lose the Reds' season looked in danger of dying a death as the Royals roared back to go 3-2 in front.
To the visitors dismay however a second penalty was awarded just before the final whistle, Lewis McGugan keeping his nerve to secure a share of the spoils or so Forest thought as there was still time for a Chambers own goal to break home hearts.
Reaction to follow on Forest Mad.
