Leeds are still looking for a replacement for Paul Robinson who signed for Tottenham in the close season and failed in their attempt to persuade Paul Gerrard to Elland Road before he signed for the Reds.
Meanwhile, former Forest defender Jon Olav Hjelde could be returning to England. He currently has a trial at Forest's Coca Cola Championship rivals Queens Park Rangers and is expected to play in their friendly against Ajax Amsterdam this week.
