"I had a meeting with Billy Davies the day before I came on loan to Macclesfield," saihe told the Manchester Evening News.
"He said he would be sending a few people to come and look at me.
"I know John Pemberton, the reserve team coach, watched me on Saturday, so it was good to score in front of him."
