While the focus of attention at the City Ground shifts towards Phil Parkinson of Bradford City, also linked with Derby County, the likes of Leeds United, Blackburn Rovers and Rotherham United are also searching for a new boss.
Steve Evans has yet to formally leave Leeds but the Elland Road club, having been turned down by Karl Robinson of MK Dons, have asked for permission to speak to Bristol Rovers manager Darrell Clarke.
Blackburn are hunting for a successor to Paul Lambert after he left Ewood Park at the end of the season and, like Nottingham Forest, have been mentioned as a potential new club for Neil Warnock.
Warnock's departure from Rotherham United means the Millers also want a new face in the dugout for the start of next season.
