"The difference in this league is scoring goals and we haven't looked like doing that so that's something we need to address quickly. It's two games, there are 44 more and nine months to go."
The new man in charge at the City Ground stressed again the urgent need for new signings to help replace the players who have left the Reds since the end of last season.
"I thought we'd replace the nine players we lost quicker but we haven't and now we're getting punished for it."
