Megson delighted for match-winner Taylor

Taylor has been on the receiving end of some criticism from the home fans this season but came off the bench to great effect against Brian Little's side, scoring the only goal of a tight game to stretch Forest's unbeaten run to five matches.

"I didn't know whether the boos were for me taking Jack Lester off, or for Gareth for not going to Sheffield United a couple of weeks ago," said Megson afterwards.

"Whatever they were, it wasn't the greatest introduction and he showed what he is about by scoring the goal that mattered."
