The Reds know that time is running out for them to launch a charge for the play-offs with an away record of no clean sheets and only eight points all season largely to blame.
Ahead of the trip to Boundary Park, manager Megson told the club website: "The fact that he haven't recorded a clean sheet away from home in the league is pathetic considering what stage of the season we're at.
"Soft is probably too hard a word to describe us but we've certainly got to be more resilient both physically and mentally when we go away from home."
