Now, as he prepares to return to Nottingham for the re-arranged cup clash, he told the Leicester Mercury: "Having watched the video of the match, I feel that much of the performance was very good, but that maybe we could not sustain the energy levels to see it through.
"That is not something that is too serious because it can be fixed on the training ground.
"We have some decent players and a big squad. We have the quantity and the quality so I have definitely got the basis to work with."
