Nottingham Forest's final home fixture of the season against Millwall will be a 'home fans only zone' following the club's decision to ban away supporters.
Forest fans were banned from the New Den last October following discussions with Nottinghamshire and Metropolitan Police. Luckily Forest fans managed to watch the 2-1 victory on a beam-back screen at The City Ground.
Millwall FC and Metropolitan Police have cracked down on away supporters because of trouble at last season's play-off semi-final between Millwall and Birmingham.
Wolves, Portsmouth, Stoke, Leicester and Burnley away support has also been limited this season as part of Millwall's 'TeamCard' scheme in a bid to reduce violence.
Although the final decision was with the clubs, Metropolitan Police advised them to consider taking the same action.
Forest's Chief Executive Mark Arthur announced that if both teams are in the same division next season then both sets of fans will be free to follow their respective clubs.
